Hi Everyone,
I am the new library media specialist at Twin Ridge Elementary School. I went to James Madison University for a bachelor's in Interdisciplinary Liberal Studies. At JMU I completed the Early Childhood Education program for PK-3. I then went to Mary Baldwin College so I could extend my teaching license because I wanted to be able to teach 4th-6th grade. I hold a teaching license in Maryland and Virginia for PK-6. Currently. I am earning a master's degree in School Librarianship at McDaniel College. I will graduate in May. I enjoy lots of activities. In the summer I like to go swimming. In the fall I enjoy going to pumpkin patches and apple picking with my family. In the winter I like to go sledding. In the spring I enjoy going on long walks with my family. My daughter and I love to bake cookies together all year around. One of my favorite activities includes reading a good book with a great cup of coffee while I am snuggled up with my dog on the couch. Come in the library media center and meet me. Share what you are reading! I am always looking for another good book to read. Happy Reading, Mrs. Houston [email protected] |
